The Fronts of War

The Fronts of War is an upcoming 6 part Stop Motion War series about the events of the Vietnam War. The series is directed by Thomas Gardner and characters are all voiced by Thomas Gardner. The first air date is still unknown and is going to be announced on February 1st 2011.
Characters
* Field Marshal Roy Beckett - 52 year old Second World War Veteran who lives in North Carolina,USA.
* Field Marshal Daniel 'Danny' Aberlson - 49 year old soldier who apparently meets Beckett in a Jeep going to an Army camp in Vietnam. He originally comes from West Chester, Pennsylvania
* Lieutenant Arthur Anderson - Veteran from World War 1 and World War 2 and has 17 Military Medals.
* Private Michael 'Birdman' Martin - 23 year old trainee who gets sucked into the battle after apparently shooting an American soldier in friendly fire.
* Sergeant Malcom Holland - Only appearing in one episode, Sergeant Holland is head of Becketts platoon until an ambush from the North Vietnamese Army.
* Charlie Beckett - 4 year old son to Roy Beckett who appears in the first and last episode. He asks his dad about the Vietnam War.
* Field Marshal Albert Thompson KBE - is an American soldier that features in the first and second episodes, he fought both World Wars and is in the Order of the British Empire.
* Private Thomas 'Rocket' Simpson -is a young recruit who features in the second episode of the series.
* Colonel Peter Rickerman - is one of the oldest soldiers in the series who features on the 3rd episode.
* Admiral James McGregor - is the strictest Army commander in the series giving punsihments 24/7.
* Private Jimmy 'Sparks' Cartwright - is the youngest soldier who appears in the 4th episode of the series.
Episodes
The series is set to have 6 parts each consisting of 30 Minutes per episode. The BBFC are classifing the series 18 rated with profane language, and apparent racial slurs on the american part.
Soundtrack
The original songs were composed by Clint Mansell, but some other songs from various artists including Supergrass, The Fratellis, AC/DC, Billy Boyd, Queen, Bill Conti, Gustavo Santaolalla, Tenacious D, John Cage, Jimi Hendrix, Ennio Morricone were used along with many others. The official soundtrack was under no copyright legalisation as it was bought freely, alot of the music is from famous films including School of rock, Brokeback Mountain, Rocky Balboa, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Benchwarmers, The Men Who Stare At Goats, I Am Legend, and Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny.
Due to legalistaion issues with a particular website, a certain track could not be used and was scrapped from the series, and the song was replaced by Clint Mansell's Requiem for a Dream, a special type of edit was used for the opening and end credits as they were over 6 minutes long. On December 31st, 2010, the soundtrack was released on the network site Facebook on the shows official page.
