Michael Conner Humphreys

Specialist Michael Conner Humphreys (born 1985) is an American soldier and former child actor best known for playing the role of Forrest Gump as a boy in the 1994 Oscar-winning drama film, Forrest Gump. He also played a small role in the Hallmark movie A Painted House.
He was born in Independence, Mississippi, U.S. He joined the U.S. Army in 2005 and served as an infantryman assigned to the 1st Battalion 36th Infantry Regiment. After a year deployed to Iraq in its dangerous Anbar Province, Humphreys was transferred to Fort Riley, Kansas. He left the Army when his enlistment ended on June 4, 2008, and has already landed a part in an upcoming World War II film, Pathfinders: In the Company of Strangers.
