The Friends of Broadway

The Friends of Broadway (FOB) was founded in 1998 by then 14-year-old Samantha Hammel (now Bower). Originally a group of six, each new season boasts a cast of up to 22 girls ranging from grades 2 through college.
They are a non-profit musical revue featuring girls who travel all over the country singing and dancing to the likes of Broadway, movies, pop songs, oldies, holiday/summer favorites, and more.
Charity Work
FOB has donated their time to nursing homes, hospitals, schools, and churches, and more. They perform at no charge for places like Boston Children's Hospital and to benefit organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Foundation for Faces of Children, Operation Smile, Cystic Fibrosis, the Jimmy Fund, American Cancer Society, and many more.
Notable Performances
FOB has appeared at hundreds of venues since 1998. Most notable performances include Disney World's Epcot Center, Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney in Orlando, Florida, Off-Broadway at The Producer's Club in New York City, and aboard Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas in the Bahamas.
