Paul A. Winkler

Paul A. Winkler (born 31 August 1989) is an American actor, singer, dancer, theatre director, choreographer and producer. He currently Produces and Hosts "Broadway Buzz: The Podcast" available on iTunes and is a proud member of Stage 13 Acting Company in NYC.
Biography
He was born to Gary Philip Winkler and Elsa Mae Cromer. He grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where he also directed and starred in several theatre shows. Beginning performing at age 6, his theatrical credits expand to over 80 credits. His training in PA came from the Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts, The Theatre Arts Center and elsewhere. For ten years he worked immensely at the historic Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope. As a performer there he did such shows as The Music Man, The Will Rogers Follies: A Life In Revue (James Rogers), Oliver! (Starring Broadway's Alexander Gemignani), big (Starring In the Heights Doreen Montavalo), State Fair, The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow/ Tinman/ Lion), (Starring soap stars Colleen Zenk Pinter and Mark Pinter). He also served as the Director and Choreographer for the Children's Theatre division productions of The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins. In addition, he served as the House Manager, Spot light operator for Grease and Personal Dresser for "Silver Spoons" stars Erin Grey and Joel Higgins. Other PA credits include Moby Dick! The Musical, School Edition (World Premiere), John Darling in several productions of Peter Pan, Detective Sergeant Penny in Agatha Christie's The Hollow, Aqwe God of Water in Once On This Island, Ryan Evans in Disney's High School Musical, Ike Skidmore and Dream Jud Fry in Oklahoma!, Hugo F. Peabody in Bye Bye Birdie, Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods, Prince Dauntless in Once Upon a Mattress, Ugly in a Hurricane Katrina Benefit of Honk!, Mr. Green in Clue: The Musical, The Diary of Anne Frank at The Pennsylvania State Thespian Festival, Seussical, Swing! and It's a Bird... ! It's a Plane... ! It's Superman!. He received an Encore Award for his performance of Orin Scrivello, D.D.S., Dentist and others in Little Shop of Horrors. Creative credits in Pennsylvania include Oliver!, Honk!, You Can't Take It With You and Smile. He is a Gold Medallion recipient for his work with the International Thespian Society.
His credits in New York City include the World Premiere concert "Mass of the Children," written, directed and conducted by John Rutter at Carnegie Hall and "The Broadway Beauty Pageant" benefit for the Ali Forny Center at New World Stages. It was choreographed by 2008 Tony award nominee Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific, Altar Boyz). Also co-stars were Rent's Anthony Rapp, 'Susan Blackwell and Hunter Bell, Seth Rudetsky of "Seth's Chatterbox", Michael Riedel of The New York Post, YouTube's VGL Boy Jeffery Self, Marty Thomas of Broadway's Xandau, Hairspray's Daniel Robinson, the A Chorus Line Revival's Tommy Berklund, The Little Mermaid's Austin Eyer and Grease's Joe Komara. Paul has appeared in the “Alexander Kovan” Music Video (filmed at the Millennium Theatre), “Gays for Guliani” Political Satire Ad (co-starring with VGL Boy Cole Escola), “The Zac Efron Song” Music Video (co-starring with Broadway's Mark Price of "All Shook Up and Kevin Yee of Mary Poppins).
Paul's NYC training as a performer includes The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, HB Studio and Broadway Dance Center.
On "Broadway Buzz: The Podcast," an independently operated radio-like show that he Produces, Hosts and Created, he's interview some of Broadway's finest stars. Guests include Tony winners Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray), Karen Ziemba (Curtains) and Lisa Lambert (The Drowsy Chaperone). Other guests include Tony nominees and Broadway's Rebecca Luker (Mary Poppins), Ann Harada (9 to 5), Richard H. Blake (Legally Blonde), Howie Michael Smith (Avenue Q), David Burnham (Wicked), Glen Kelly (Young Frankenstein), Daniel Evans (Sunday In the Park with George) and Jenna Russell (Guys and Dolls).
