The Effects

The Effects is an unsigned rock band from Oologah, Oklahoma that has toured independently across the United States and Canada. In 2006, The Effects played over 200 shows and shared the stage with Phantom Planet, Kings of Leon, Hanson, Velvet Revolver, The Burden Brothers, Blue October, Ingram Hill, The Kentucky Headhunters, Cowboy Mouth, Chatter Chatter, The Stills and Limbeck. The Effects also performed in 2006 at SXSW (Austin, Texas), NEMO (Boston), Dfest (Tulsa), Mobfest (Chicago), Mayfest (Tulsa) and IPO (NYC). The band signed a production deal with Jeff Saltzman (producer of The Killers' Hot Fuss, Smashmouth's Summer Girl, and former manager of Green Day), and released a 5-song EP (Mixed by Mark Needham), which was recorded in Los Angeles.
