The CW 3on3 Basketball Tournament is an amateur summer basketball league based out of the The CW in Burbank, California. The league has been active since its inception in 2008. Its founders were the current commissioners Steve Ross and Tim Joe. Each team is named after defunct television shows from the CW. The current champion is Team High Society, the #1 seed of the year, defeating #6 Hitched of Ditched. Current finals MVP is Nick Dertavitian, earning the title after the championship game on July 29, 2010. List of teams The team listing of the 2010 season consisted of: * The Beautiful Life (TBL) * Flygirls * High Society * Hitched or Ditched (HoD) * Melrose Place * Privileged Team names and rosters were selected by the commissioners' office. Playoffs The format for the playoffs follows the pattern of the #3 seed playing #6, and #4 playing #5 in the quarterfinal rounds, following the commissioners' office ranking process. The semifinal round has #1 playing the highest remaining team, and #2 playing the other advancing team. The winners of both games play for the championship in the final game.
