The Christmas Pickle Tradition

The Christmas Pickle Tradition is an American picture book written by Tammy Lee Dwyer and illustrated by Tom Newsome and Edwardo Paj. It was first published in 2014 and is based on the story behind the Christmas pickle tradition.
Synopsis
The Christmas Pickle Tradition tells the tale of a mischievous little elf in Santa Claus's workshop who does not want to work; he just wants to play. He is assigned to build a toy truck for a boy named Joseph, and complains that the assignment will take him all day to complete.
The book is based on the Christmas pickle tradition. In participating in the tradition, one leaves an ornament in the shape of a pickle out for Santa Claus with the milk and cookies.
