The Black Blood Alliance

The Blackblood Alliance is a wolf-based comic book about a pack of wolves with a power only known as "The Fury." It was written by Kay Fedewa and E. Siegel.
Characters
*Swiftkill: The ex-Captain of the Elite Guard of Inaria, Swiftkill is the protagionist of the comic. She was the first one to be affected by "The Fury," which occurred when the alphas' daughter, Rapier, invaded the Inarian den. However, The Fury caused her to kill the alphas' two pups, Imek and Avie, by mistake. As a result, she and her kin were banished. She now chooses to forsake any responsibility. She has three green stripes on each side of her muzzle.
*Bloodspill: Swiftkill's disgruntled younger sister and the later mother of Reicher, a tough Blackblood, she is apparently the largest and strongest wolf in the comic. She has three black jagged stripes under each eye.
*Riptide: Riptide is the cousin of Swiftkill and Bloodspill and the son of Fairstep. His markings are two arrow-like triangles painted blue under his eyes. He is also some what of a jokester and lady's man.
*Nightrun: Nightrun is a friend of Swiftkill, Bloodspill, and Riptide. Her markings are a simple orange stripe underneath her eyes. She is the lightest built of the Blackbloods and is a runner.
*Fairstep: Riptide's mother and the aunt of Swiftkill and Bloodspill. She has a long, blue triangle-like marking under both her eyes.
*Reicher: The unborn son of Bloodspill and Blade. In the future he is closely attached to his mother and tries to eat Coldsnap and any other foxes he sees.
*Warbound: A serious brown Blackblood wolf and the mate of Spearheart. He has two different red markings under both his eyes. Battle commander and father of Lutec and Lani.
*Spearheart: A chipper yellow Blackblood wolf with brown markings on her legs. She is the mate of Warbound and has a yellow triangle as a marking under both her eyes. Mother of Lutec and Lani, who have yet to make an appearance.
*Rapier: The antagionist of the comic, daughter of Inarian alphas Whitewind and Greyback. She is the founder of Alteron, Scimitar's, and Blade, Ridge, Claymore and Scythe's mother. She antagonized Swiftkill into The Fury, resulting in the death of her younger brothers Avie and Imek in an attempt to usurp leadership of Inaria. She choose only to nurture and care for her son Blade and hardly fed or taught her other children how to hunt. Her personality is "snakelike".
*Blade: The son of Rapier and Prince of Alteron, he has a nasty side but has a silver tounge. Blade has a vicious and short temper and tends to erupt over small matters. He is quite a looker and is always surrounded by his girls. Blade is closely attached to his mother. Claymore and Scythe are from his litter, and Ridge is his half-brother. He is a black and brown wolf with gray eyes.
*Claymore: This thin wolf is the younger brother of Blade. He is gray in color and bears resemblance to his father Scimitar. Like his sister Scythe, Claymore is neglected by his mother Rapier.
*Scythe: She is the youngest of Rapier's children and her only daughter. According to her character sheet http://kayfedewa.deviantart.com/art/Character-Sheet11-Scythe-11956853, Scythe has a dry sense of humor, can be flirty and sarcastic, and gets along quite well with Claymore. She is a red, brown, and white wolf with green eyes.
*Scimitar: This red and gray wolf is Rapier's mate. He is the father of Blade, Claymore, and Scythe.
Issues
The first issue of The Blackblood Alliance was released in November of 2007. Issue 2 is still in the works. The pages of the second issue as well as the first issue can be seen at Kay Fedewa's Deviant Art page, along with character sheets and other artwork.
