The Bite Back Movement is an artist duo consisting of Alexander Augustus (UK, 1988) and Seung youn Lee (South Korea, 1982). They are best known for their A Dangerous Figure series, initiated by Augustus in 2013 as a solo show at Somerset House. The artwork was a user-generated installation protesting the figures of young unemployment in the UK. The work was funded by O2 : Telefonica and featured the participation of over 10,000 young people in the UK, attempting to "rebrand young unemployment". The pair have created artworks and led workshops in the UK, Germany and South Korea since 2012, most notably lecturing for Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and The Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
