On , notability is a test used by editors to decide whether a given topic warrants its own article. For people, the person who is the topic of a biographical article should be "worthy of notice" or "note" - that is, "remarkable" or "significant, interesting, or unusual enough to deserve attention or to be recorded" within as a written account of that person's life. "Notable" in the sense of being "famous" or "popular" - although not irrelevant - is secondary. Am I missing the something here ---- Brooke Purvis (born 19 May 1977) Is an English artist most notably known for his work which addresses political subjects. Purvis works with a variety of media but is recognized for his conceptual work most notably "everything-burns" which is argued addresses the subject matter of the materialism of money and brings to light the political issues of the U.K student loan system. Purvis also works in collage and screen print media formats. Purvis has a history in street art using mostly stencils. In 2011 Purvis was convicted along with an accomplice of more than 20 counts of criminal damage for painting the handle SP£ND across Oxfordshire U.K. It was considered a response to the U.K government spending cuts being implemented at the time. Purvis is currently in attendance at the Central Saint Martins school of art and design.
