The Ann Arbor Masonic News is a monthly periodical published in Ann Arbor, Michigan with the focus of covering the various Masonic activities taking place in Washtenaw County, though it often covers events elsewhere in Michigan as well. The paper was founded on March, 15th 1943 with La Verne C. Rose of Golden Rule Lodge No. 159 Free & Accepted Masons as the editor and A. Almus Hale as business manager. Format The Ann Arbor Masonic News is a compact newspaper published by The Ann Arbor Masonic News Association. The paper’s slogan is “Serving the Masonic Fraternity of Washtenaw County.” The paper is written by the leaders of the various Masonic bodies located in Washtenaw County. This includes, Saline Lodge No. 133 F&AM, Manchester Lodge No. 148 F&AM, Olive Lodge No. 156 F&AM, Golden Rule Lodge No. 159 F&AM, Ann Arbor-Fraternity No. 262 F&AM, Ypsilanti Chapter No. 119 OES, Zal Gaz Grotto No. 34 MOVPER, Washtenaw Chapter No. 6 RAM, Ann Arbor Council No. 86 R&SM, and Ann Arbor Commandery No.13 Knights Templar.
