The alice rose

The Alice Rose is an indie pop/rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 2001. The group's founding members are songwriter and vocalist JoDee Purkeypile, bassist Sean Crooks, and drummer Chris Sensat. Keyboardist Brendan Rogers and lead guitarist Colin Slagle joined the band in the fall of 2005.
Their first album, Phonographic Memory was released November 10, 2006. A track from the album, "West", was featured as NPR's "Song of the Day" on November 27, 2006. The single "Body Offering" followed on March 29, 2008. Colin Slagle left the band shortly afterwards. Lead guitarist Gregg White joined in early 2008. White's first release with the band was the single "Bloody Mary", released October 31, 2008. After recording A second album, All Haunt's Sound, was released on February 21, 2009, followed by a 7" ep, In a Daze, on July 16, 2009.
