Thai Pancake

Introduction
Thai pancake, in Thai language named “Kanom-fag-bou” or “Kanom-Jujun”. Thai pancake was created by Thai people for long time ago and its method to cook is charming and meticulously. In addition, it is delicious and has beautiful shape. Moreover Thai people admire to use it in wedding ceremony or any festival.
History
Thai pancake, in south of Thailand called “Kanom-Jujon or Kanom-doujun”. It was created in Thailand for long time ago. It has beautiful shape and good taste. About its appearance, it is swollen in the middle and slim in edge. Thai people believe that it liken lotus performance which can growth in bad condition. So, it was like a love of wedding couple that will smoothly grow up and success in married life.
Ingredients
*Jasmine rice flour 135 grams
*Rice 33 grams
*Coconut sugar 38 grams
*Sugar 75 grams
*Milk 217 grams
*Salt 1 gram
*Eggs 110 grams
*Banana 15 grams
*Oil for frying
Method to cook
First, we mix Jasmine rice powder, rice, sugar, salt, eggs together and drop milk little by little, then drop the sugar little by little. When sugar is melt, put banana (mashed banana) into prepared mash and mix together and drop milk little by little. After ingredients is completely mix, put a small pot on the stove to fried (using medium heat). After oil is hot, drop prepared powder into a pot (2 tablespoon). Waiting until its color change to yellow, flip it and fried other side. When it’s ripe, bring it up waiting until oil drained.
In power mixing process, mix powder until look like cream, and then leave it for 1 hour before frying. Using A deep pot and wood stick for flip. To make a Thai pancake, cooker must be expert.

How to eat
To eat Thai pancake, normally Thai people like to use it in a wedding or propitious ceremony. Actually, it is used ad snack in every festival. Sometime it is used as a gift. Normally, Thai people like to eat it after immediately fried because it is still soft, colorful and smell good. If it was leaved for an hour, it will be sticky, stiff and full of oil.
