Tess Rose In Scotland is one of the leading writer and artist Tess Rose of 21st Century, who wrote a story and libretto called "Whisky Mystery". The Story is a celebration of the finest aspects of Scottish culture, tradition, heritage and mythology. She is picking up the style and influence of G. Rossini and W. Mozart and setting in combinations of Scottish traditional music and famous poetry of R. Burns.Tess Rose who also writes on whisky and scotland's matters, visited Glenrothes Distillery a years ago, and was so taken by the setting that she started researching the Rothes are and its history and she has chosen Rothes as her inspirational home. The result is scottish comic opera based on the mythology of the early whisky distillers and their legends. But the names, families and places are changed to create a magic potion of Scottish humour, wisdom and harmony with nature and their fellow creatures. Tess Rose as artist, whisky writer and former concert pianist has the ideal background to write both the story and libretto for "Whisky Mystery".It tells the story of Lillie, who returns to the Highlands to find her roots, and falls in love with the ghostly Master of Whisky known as " James of the Hill". According myths James is reputed to have lived in a huge cave under the local hills behind the distillery near Rothes burn and have loved Lilli's ancestor, crofter Helen Mannoch from Mannoch Hill.
