Tempting Paris

Tempting Paris is an American rock band from Raleigh, North Carolina. The group was officially formed in 2012 when songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Shawn Milke of Alesana and his sister Melissa decided to turn their love of singing together into an artistic endeavor. Rounding out the quartet are songwriter and guitarist Patrick Thompson of Alesana and bassist Joey Mitchell of Swampcandy. With influences ranging from Ben Folds to Lydia, the band brings a fresh approach to piano driven pop-rock with their positive lyrics and "get up and dance" vibe. The band recently released their debut full length record Polaroids In July on the Raleigh, North Carolina based record label Revival Recordings. Plans for a live acoustic release and a new single are in the works. The band shot and released a music video for the single "Entertaining A Stranger" with director Justin Reich in the fall of 2012.
