Tekkerslovakia Football Club are an Australian Summer football club based in Forestville, New South Wales. The club competes in the Forest Summer Football Competition and Football NSW Champion of Champions Competition. Their home ground is Melwood Oval, in the Northern Beaches suburb of Forestville, approximately 12 kilometers north-east from . Founded in 2015, Tekkerslovakia completed the New South Wales 'summer double' in their inaugural season, winning both the Forest Summer Football league title and the Football NSW Champion of Champions competition, representing Forest-Killarney. Remarkably, the 1st team has only lost one game in the club's short history. An 8-3 loss to 'Killarney High School 1' was had on the 7th of
December 2015, when Tekkerslovakia only fielded 5 players.
History
2016: Inaugural Season
The club's first game was played on the 7th of December 2015, an 8-3 victory over 'Killarney High School 1' was played at Melwood Oval, Forestville in the first round of the Forest Summer Football Men's All Age competition. The club scored 45 goals on their way to the title, securing the competition with one week remaining.
After qualifying for the Football NSW Summer Football Champion of Champions Competition as winners of the Forest-Killarney competition, Tekkerslovkia progressed through the group stage and semi-finals before defeating side Sutherland Sharks FC 4-1 in the Final. Daniel Stuart was named man of the match, scoring a second half hat-trick in the decider.
