Ted Fang () is a Singaporean businessman, investor and hotelier. He is the founder and CEO of Tera Capital and co-founder and President of Frontier Group. Career Fang founded Tera Capital, a private investment firm that invests in private and public equities and hospitality related businesses in Asia Pacific. In 2003, together with his two brothers, Harry Tan and David Tan, he co-founded Frontier Group, which acquired the Days Inn master franchise for Greater China from Wyndham Worldwide. The team successfully made Days Inn China the fastest growing mid-market hotel chain in China. Fang oversees the overall strategic direction of the group and all its investment activities. In January, 2019, Wyndham Worldwide Corporation reacquired the exclusive direct franchising rights for Days Inn brand for the People's Republic of China. Fang started his career in oil trading in 1992. In 1995, he founded an IT company and in 2003, he founded Tera Capital. Fang was listed by Prestige Lifestyle Magazine as one of Singapore's 200 most powerful and influential people in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014. Personal life Fang represented the Singapore Squash National Team in the Singapore Squash Championships, 1980 to 1985; the Malaysian Junior Open 1984; and the British Junior Open Squash Championship (under 19), Dartford, England in 1983). Fang has two half-brothers (Harry Tan and David Tan).
