Technitrous

Technitrous is an annual all India technical Intercollegiate IT meet held at MAR ATHANASIOS COLLEGE FOR ADVANCED STUDIES THIRUVALLA(MACFAST),Pathanamthitta,Kerala,India .It is conducted by the MCA department of MACFAST.It is the arena for students, technical experts, IT professional and youngsters from colleges all across South India to come together and share their ideas and knowledge. It converges energy, competitiveness and ideas of high spirited youngsters all across South India to compete and win cash prizes . Fabulous competitions such as Technical Quiz,General quiz, Word Hunt, Web Designing, Coding, LAN Gaming, Best Personality,Surprise event will add the kick to the meet.

History of Technitrous

Technitrous 05

Two day technical and cultural IT fest was held on March 18th and 19th of 2005 in our college.The occassion was honoured by the presence of the former Supreme Court Judge, K. T. Thomas who also delivered the keynote address on IT can play lead role in development of State.

Technitrous 07

Technitrous '07 was a South Zonal Intercollegiate IT meet held on January 11th ,12th and 13th at MACFAST. It converges energy, competitiveness and ideas of high spirited youngsters all across South India.Dr. Radhakrishnan Nair, CEO of Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram inaugurated the Mega event TECHNITROUS 07.Fabulous competitions such as Technical Quiz, General quiz, Word Hunt, Web Designing, Coding, LAN Gaming, Best Personality, Surprise event add kick to the meet. The cultural nite "amrIThm"puts together dance numbers, nostalgic remix, fashion show, comical skit, rocking music and lot more.

This was yet another exhilarating three day experience which was jointly held by the Computer Society of India (CSI) and the MCA department on the 16th, 17th and 18th of January 2008. Chief guests of the day were-Sri. Lalitha Prasad- Head, TCS,Thiruvananthpuram, Mr. Joseph C. Mathew- IT Advisor to Chief Minister of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, Mr. Satheesh Nair- Corporate Manager,IBS, Thiruvananthapurm and Mr. Kenny Jacob- CTO,Mob Me, Thiruvananthapuram.Fabulous competitions such as Technical Quiz,
General quiz, Word Hunt, Web Designing, Coding, LAN Gaming, Best Personality, Surprise event and lot more added kick to the meet.
Entertainment stars and amazing numbers counts up to make a grand audience for "DHWANI"-the cultural extravaganza, striking in the spice and colorful streaks of youth to Technitrous'08.
