Team 1325 Inverse Paradox

Team 1325 Inverse Paradox is an award winning robotics organization that participates in the highest level of the FIRST organization, FIRST Robotics Competition. The team is based in Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. As of 2016 the organization consists of 84 members and 17 mentors. Inverse Paradox has won multiple awards and competitions over the past several seasons. The team also assists and mentors other FLL and FRC teams. The team educates its members in the fields of STEM and helps develop public relations and business skills. Community Involvement Team 1325 is an active member in its community participating in dozens of outreach events and supporting other FIRST teams. The team's goal is to spread the word of FIRST around the community to inspire others to participate in STEM fields. Inverse Paradox has proven on multiple occasions that it strives to spread the principles of STEM amongst youth in the local and global community. Team 1325 also actively supports other FIRST teams in the community. History 2016 Team 1325 Inverse Paradox, had another great season winning 5 awards at 3 regionals including a Woodie Flowers Finalist award. The team again moved on to the championship in St.Louis, Missouri, USA where they competed in the Archimedes Division of the Championship. 2015 Team 1325 hit its peak in 2015, winning a Regional Chairman's Award at the Greater Toronto East regional. Later that year they captained their Championship Carson division alliance consisting of FRC teams 3339, 20, and 1711. After winning their division, for the first time in their team's history they moved on to the Einstein matches. 2014 Team 1325's 2013 season went exceptionally well, with them qualifying to play in the elimination rounds of every regional and winning the Creativity Award sponsored by Xerox at their last regional. 2013 Team 1325 had another great season, including their first ever regional win qualifying them for the championship in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where they competed in the Galileo division. Prior to 2013 Team 1325 had competed in every season 2004 and after except for the 2005 season. Within those seasons they have won multiple other awards including a regional finalist award. Previous Robots 2016 Stronghold Leonardo Leonardo was created for the 2016 FIRST Robotics Competition Season: "Stronghold"! Leonardo was featured at the Greater Toronto East Regional, the Greater Toronto Central Regional and the North bay Regional. Oskar qualified for the FIRST World Championships! 2015 Recycle Rush Oskar the Grouch Oskar the Grouch was created for the 2015 FIRST Robotics Competition Season: "Recycle Rush"! Oskar was featured at the Greater Toronto East Regional, the Greater Toronto Central Regional and the Windsor-Essex Great Lakes Regional. Oskar qualified for the FIRST World Championships! 2014 Aerial Assist Thomas the Tank Thomas the Tank was created for the 2014 FIRST Robotics Competition Season: "Aerial Assist"! Thomas was featured at the Greater Toronto East Regional, the North Bay Regional and the Windsor-Essex Great Lakes Regional. Thomas received the Creativity award for its two catapult design. 2013 Ultimate Ascent Schmetterling Schmetterling was created for the 2013 FIRST Robotics Competition Season: "Ultimate Ascent"! Schmettterling was featured at the Greater Toronto West Regional and the Greater Toronto East Regional. Schmetterling qualified for the FIRST World Championships! 2012 Rebound Rumble PhamBot PhamBot was created for the 2012 FIRST Robotics Competition Season "Rebound Rumble"! Phambot was featured at the Greater Toronto East Regional and the Greater Toronto West Regional. Facility Team 1325 Inverse Paradox is based in Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School where the have acquired a lab for themselves which has been named the robotics lab. The team does all of its in house machining in their lab as well as invites other teams to use its practice field which the team builds within the start of the build season.
