Tanya Doskova is a Bulgarian-born artist living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Career In 1995, Doskova won the John Purcell Prize for best lithography (London, England). The following year her artwork won the Cannon Canada Gold and the Cannon Canada Merit Awards from the The Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators in Communications (CAPIC). In 1997, Doskova won three other major Canadian awards, including the Adobe Systems Gold Award, the Cannon Canada Bronze Award, and the Readers Digest Merit Award for Editorial Illustration. From 1998 until 2002 she did computer animation and special effects for the film industry. Doskova worked in U2 and Ridley Scott's post- production house, The Mill, and also in Jim Henson's Creature Shop in London, England. Among the projects she worked on were special effects for the pictures Enemy of the State, Babe 2, and Pitch Black.
