Tammy C. Cooper was born August 6, 1976 in Darlington, S.C. She joined the United States Navy right out of high school in 1994. She is an alumni of College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL and has since obtained her B.S. in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. She will complete her M.H.A. in July of 2011. It is Tammy's hope and dream to become a Health Administrator with the Department of Veteran's Affairs. She currently works for the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, (formerly known as the North Chicago Va), the first federal health care center ever! She's excited about that but is looking to do big things. She is currrently in the process of writing her first book while working full time, going to school and a mother to three beautiful children ages 14, 11, and 2. Tammy has volunteered at numerous organizations including St. Therese hospital in Waukegan, IL, Fleet and Family Support Center in Mayport Fl, Second Hand Rose, Yokosuka Japan, and in her current organization as the Department Security Officer.
