Tammarrian Rogers

Tammarrian Rogers (from Seattle, WA and born in 1969) is the director of engineering, at Snap Inc. She is also CTO of OPTYVA, a consultancy and digital media group specializing in sustainability, business transformation, design and development, communications, and community development. Tammarrian has many passions including mentoring and inspiring girls, women and people of color to explore careers in technology. She also enjoys committing her time helping homeless humans. At an early age, she witnessed and felt the impact of the work her mother was involved in to empower, serve and protect our homeless community. When not working or serving, Tammarrian enjoys spending time with her family, competing in racquetball, and time outdoors.
Education
Tammarrian Rogers got her degree in 1994 at the Stanford University, Master of Science in Engineering.<ref name="ForbesProfile" />
Career
For 20 years she worked at Microsoft where she led teams in the Office, Online Services, and Windows Divisions. There she had the responsibility for overseeing programs and initiatives that were designed to improve efficiencies and code quality.<ref name"ForbesProfile" /> Early in her career she had the function of hardware engineer at Apple. Next to her work she also serves in multiple boards (or gives advice to them), which are the in Seattle, the Alternative Healthcare Access Campaign and Academic Sports Achievement Seattle.<ref name"ForbesProfile" />
She is listed in The World's Top 50 Women in Tech 2018 and America's Top 50 Women in Tech 2018.<ref name="ForbesProfile" />
