A tablogue is a reaction by brands to the increased use of tablet computers, part of the trend in T-Commerce. Modern consumers are shunning traditional marketing consumption such as catalogues in favour of digital consumption via desktop, tablet, mobile and interactive TVs. As catalogues no longer inspire the same brand loyalty they once did some brands such as ASOS are moving more into the digital space. A tablogue is an example of the shift toward a digital marketing focus. Tablogues are not a catalogue in the conventional sense but instead focus on the user experience. This enhanced user experience is achieved via imagery, video, audio and interactive experiences. As tablets grow in popularity so will the trend in brand use of tablogues.
