T.K.V. Rajan

T.K.V. Rajan is an archaeologistin Bengaluru, media personality and the founder and director of Indian Science Monitor and Indo-Asian Foundation of Archaeological Research, an organization that conducts expeditions, seminars and interactions with archaeologists from different Asian countries to strengthen cultural ties among Asian countries.
Career
Rajan conceptualized a novel exhibition "Great cricket controversies and science behind it " at Russian Center for Science and Culture in 2011 in Chennai. Rajan also conceptualized and organized a Gallup poll on "A study of the portrayal of women characters in popular TV serials", the result of which was published in leading newspapers.
Rajan has been pushing for re-excavation at Dwarka (in the current state of Gujarat) by using new underwater technology, believes that the ASI does not want to relate the excavation at Indraprastha with the Mahabharata as the topic is a little too politically charged and sensitive", "From Kanchi to Cambodia - Greater India revisited."
