Swamp Studs "Swamp Studs" is a weekly taped comedic webepisode starring former University of Florida wide receiver Riley Cooper, and current Gator fullback Steve Wilks. The show began during 2011 spring football practice while Cooper was in Gainesville completing his degree and Wilks still in class. The show is similar to Jay Leno's The Tonight Show sketch skit except interviews generally contain questions relating to the University of Florida. In episode 1, former player Carlos Dunlap is shown suggesting the name of the show. Presumably referring to the hosts Wilks and Coopers. Episodes are generally filmed on the University of Florida campus and features students, current and former Gator players, and other pedestrians. The show is hosted on the Gator football recruiting and news website CoachWillMuschamp.com. The show became popular through word-of-mouth via various Gator message boards, blog posts and Twitter. |
