Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji

Swami Kailashanand Ji is an Indian Saint, Guru, writer and a Yoga guru. He is a scholar, and a writer of many religious books of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit languages. He is a Mahamandaleshwar of Niranjan Akhara, his Ashram is in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. As the first man of Niranjan Akhara, he is a spiritual leader of thousands on Naga Sadhus, and he had given Deeksha to them. His books are based on Indian culture, traditions, and the ancient Indian religion Vedic .
Early life
Kailashanand Giri Ji was born on 1 January 1976, in the North Indian state Bihar (currently in Jharkhand) small town of Jasidih of Deoghar district. He became a home solitaire at his early childhood, he left his home and started to live in the forest in the company of Saints. While living in a company of Saints his curiosity towards Vedic Sanatan Dharma increased day by day, so he decided to gain more knowledge of Vedic education. He went to many Ashrams for this purpose and learned a lot about Vedic Dharma, Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, and Yoga.
Education
His final destination was Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidhayalaya in Varanasi, from where he completed his Acharya degree(Post Graduation) in Vedic education in 2002. After completing his Acharya degree he became the secretary of Shri Shambhu Panch Agni Akhara.
Works
While holding the post of a secretary of Shri Shambhu Panch Agni Akhara his name changed, and people called him Mahant Shree Kailashanand Brahmachari. Panch Agni Akhara is one of the 13 Akharas and this Akhara is only for Brahmacharis(bachelor). Being celibate Akharas main and biggest prerequisite, the current president of Agni Akhara Bapu Gopalanand Brahmachari Ji made him his disciple and the secretary of Agni Akhara. Under the leadership of Kailashanand Giri Ji, Agni Akhara participated in many Kumbh, and Mahakumbhs.
Writer
He is a writer and scholar of Hindi and Sanskrit languages, as he completed his education in Vedic education so he has excellent knowledge of Vedas, Puranas, Upnishads and Yoga. He wrote a book River of Moksha which is based on River Ganga, River Ganga is highly sacred in Hinduism, they worshipped and called it Maa Ganga. His another book Shaktisatvanam is in the Sanskrit language, a rare collection of Vedic Strotas, and the third book is Gangagatha.
Religious Guru
In 2006, Bapu Gopalanand gave another responsibility to Acharya Kailashanand, he selected him as the Peethadheeshwar of South Kali Mandir Chandi Ghat Haridwar. This Peeth was established by Mahaguru Baba Kamraj Ji, which is distinguished as being the main among all the Peeths of Vedic Sanatan Dharma for many centuries. The journey of Swami Ji from Shree Mahant to the prestigious post of Mahamandaleshwar is the result of his hard work and devotion to Sanatan Dharma. Agni Akhara revered Acharya Kailashanand as a Mahamandaleshwar at the age of 38 at Prayagraj Mahakumbh in 2013.
The death of Bapu Gopalanad Brahmachari was not only a loss of Agni Akharas members but also a huge loss of entire saint communities. After his death, the responsibilities of all his Ashrams were transferred. Increasing splendor of the revered Swami Ji and his continuous contributions made to the Vedic Sanatan Dharma, Shri Panchayati is expected to be seated on Acharya Mahamandaleshwar.
Finally on 14 January 2021, Swami Kailashanand became Niranjan Peethadheeshwar Mahamandaleshwar Kailashanand Giri Ji. All saint communities and famous Akharas and famous personalities of Indian region came on his Pattabhishek ceremony, and accepted him as their spiritual leader.
Award
Acharya Kailashanand Giri Ji was awarded the Bharat Gaurav Award by British Government on 13 April 2018. This award was given to him for his social and religious works.
Social Services
Many social works are done by Swami ji and his Akharas. Through his social work, he tried to uplift the status of the poor people in society. Anna Kshetra, Old Age Homes, Ved Vidhayalaya, Gaushala Yojna, Vedic Education, a free hostel for poor children, and charitable hospitals are some social works run by Guru Ji and his Ashrams.
