Swakopmund Skydiving Club

Swakopmund Skydiving Club, founded in 1974, operates out of Swakopmund Airport 4 km outside of the town of Swakopmund, Namibia.
The club provides a 7 day a week facility for sports skydiving, static line student training and progression, accelerated freefall student training and progression, and tandem introductory skydiving, a Cessna 182 is owned by the Chairman (skydiving configuration).
Swakopmund Skydiving Club has organised the legendary Desert Skydiving Boogies since 1978. The Desert Skydiving Boogies start a few days before Christmas until a few days after new years, and attract sports skydivers from around the world.

Swakopmund Skydiving Club is a non-profit organization run by a committee, elected by its members on a volunteer basis.

Operations
Swakopmund Skydiving Club is a Namibian Department of Civil Aviation (NDCA) approved and registered drop zone, licensed for sports skydiving, static line student training and progression, accelerated freefall student training and progression, also tandem introductory skydiving. Operations are conducted under the supervision of a NDCA approved Chief Instructor and in accordance with the NDCA manual of procedures and part 105 of the Namibian Department of Civil Aviation Regulation.
Location
Swakopmund Skydiving Club is located at Swakopmund Airport 4 km east of the town of Swakopmund on the B2 Trans Kalahari Highway in the Erongo Region of Namibia.
