Sustainable Energy Now, Inc. (SEN) is a Western Australian volunteer group aimed at "promoting practical, affordable strategies for the adoption of renewable energy and a sustainable future". SEN was founded in 2007 by a group of concerned individuals and has a steadily growing membership of professionals, students and pensioners from all walks of life. The sustainable energy sources identified by SEN as appropriate for Western Australia's South-West Interconnected System (SWIS) electricity grid are: * wind * * wave * * sustainable biomass. SEN have developed a computer simulation that models the SWIS and enables users to create their own renewable energy generation facilities for input into the grid. SEN is an affiliate group of the Conservation Council of Western Australia, Friends of the Earth Australia and the Anti-Nuclear Alliance of WA.
