Sustainability loops

A sustainability loop refers to a product distribution system in which a single company picks up and processes a client’s recyclable waste, creates a product utilizing recyclable materials, delivers the resulting product back to the client. Sustainable loop distribution, is notable in that it addresses sustainability within the context of the user of products and the distribution of them, allowing for a reduction in vendors, fuel use and complexity. Overall a sustainable loop lowers the cost of product and services to the end user.
Key practices
Similar to "closed loop recycling" which is an In plant industrial activity, sustainable loop distribution" dis-intermediates a full supply chain and delivers recycled or sustainable product in the same vehicle in which client recyclables are then picked up. Recycling services, recycled products, focused on library systems, universities, education. Dis-inter mediating the supply chain to wring out costs and increase margins while creating a defensible market position and strong barriers to entry. No empty trucks, deliver sustainable and recycled product to a client and bring back their recycling on the return, saving diesel and saving time.
Benefits
Sustainability loops enable and empower the Management of buildings and personnel in large complex organizations to align their mutual concern for recycling and sustainable product use without complex and expensive enterprize software integration and use of multiple vendors or software providers. "Sustainable loop distributors" simplyfy ordering, delivery of recycled or sustainable products then pick up used, surplus and recyclable items and commodities while dis-intermediatin existing supply chains.
Key differentiation
Unlike sustainable distribution "loop" distributors pick up recycling of any type and sort or process the items as opposed to merely hauling. "Loop" distributors direct their processed recycling directly to mills or factories where they buy back and distribute to the consuming business and then repeat.....
Sustainable loop distributors utilize "multi-stream recycling as opposed to co-mingled or Single-stream recycling, And work to provide and place sorting containers on the premises of the generator / user.
Compared to recycling
Simple recycling is part of what makes up an integrated sustainable loop company however the process is integratedinto the whole to reduce inefficiencies and reduce transportation.
Unlike Product life-cycle management, sustainable loop distribution is agnostic to product design and engineering, it is solely focused on dis-inter mediating existing supply channels and combining multiple vendors into one.
Sustainability loops and "sustainable loop distributors" show active participation of members and the Looped flow of product and recyclables through tracking software, public scoreboards and competitions among members.
