Susan Templeman

Susan Templeman is an Australian politician. She has been an Australian Labor Party candidate for the Australian House of Representatives.
Susan graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts. Prior to entering politics Susan worked as a radio journalist, Susan now runs her own media training company based in the Blue Mountains. Just two months after her defeat in the 2013 Australian Federal Election Susan’s family home in Winmalee was destroyed in the 2013 Blue Mountians bushfires.
In 2010, Susan was preselected as the Labor candidate for the electorate of Macquarie but was defeated by the Liberal candidate Louise Markus. In the lead up to the 2010 election Susan was dubbed as a ‘secret weapon soccer mum’ by the Daily Telegraph. Templeman was again preselected for the 2013 Australian Election but failed to defeat the incumbent. She will take on Louise Markus for a third consecutive time in the 2016 Australian Federal election.
