Sunny Ozell (née Sunny Michelson), is an American jazz singer and wife of Sir Patrick Stewart. Biography According to her official website, she grew up in Reno, Nevada, where her favorite pastime was ski racing. Later in life, she became the lead singer of Chupacabra, a "pan-Latin party band" in Colorado. Eventually she moved to Brooklyn, where she and her husband currently reside. She performs at venues such as the Rockwood Music Hall, and she has worked with other musicians such as Jim Campilongo, Adam Levy, and Krystal Warren. Personal life Ozell met Stewart in early 2008 when he appeared in a production of Macbeth at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. A year later—"Months after parting with the British actress Lisa Dillon", wrote the London Daily Mail—Ozell and Stewart accompanied each other at an after-party for a production of Waiting for Godot (in which Stewart had played the role of Vladimir). In March 2013, Sir Ian McKellen revealed on The Jonathan Ross Show that Ozell and Stewart were engaged to be married and that he would be their officiant.
