Sunil Sawani is a musician from Troy, MI, a suburb of Detroit. Creating songs mainly for a small audience of friends for many years, his first for-sale release was a 5 song EP called Tenille. The name of the EP is derived from the combination of Tenley (the local band with whom he collaborated to record the backing music tracks) and Sunil. Sawani also plays in the 4-piece band the Low hello. Their sound is generally classified as indie pop. He is the primary songwriter, singer and rhythm guitarist.
