Summit Learning Services is an educational tutoring company
currently serving the United States. The company has 30 units consisting of franchises and company owned locations.
The company began operations in 2007 and is headquarted in
Plantation, Florida.
Introduction
Summit Learning Services was founded by Jeanee Thompson and Ed Cwieka. Starting out with just 1 student, Summit Learning Services
grew to 150 students in 3 months. The company provided
tutoring services at their corporate office as well as student’s
homes. In 2008, Summit Learning Services was named “Business
Partner Of They Year” by Broward County Public Schools.
The first franchise was sold in 2009 and many more units are
being planned throughout the USA and Canada.
Scope of Services
Using a mixture of 3rd party and proprietary curriculum, Summit
Learning Services tutors students from K-12 in reading, math and
science. The company provides these services to students in the
No Child Left Behind program as well as private pay students. The
company has a strict policy of using only state certified teachers as
tutors.
