Summer Shootout

The Summer Shootout Series is one a weekly racing series in the United States. The series runs at Lowe's Motor Speedway, Charlotte, NC on Tuesdays in the Summer months. The series is televised on Speed Channel in the winter months.
Sanctioning Body
The Summer Shootout Series at Lowe's Motor Speedway is sanctioned by INEX out of Harrisburg, North Carolina. 600 Racing, also located in Harrisburg, is the sole producer of the Legend Cars, Bandolero Cars, and Thunder Cup cars.
INEX is the international sanctioning body of the Legends, Bandolero and Thunder Roadster Cars. Formed in 1995, INEX was developed to promote, organize and sanction Legends Car, Bandolero and Thunder Roadster racing across the United States, Canada and Europe.
INEX is the third largest short track sanctioning body behind NASCAR Weekly Racing and International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) with more than 3,500 members. INEX annually sanctions more than 2,000 races at more than 200 different tracks throughout the world.
