Sue Googe

Sue Googe (born Fu Jiangxiu on August 1, 1972) is a Chinese-born American entrepreneur, a software engineer and political activist. Born and raised in Hainan Island, China, she immigrated to America at age of 26 in 1998. Sue lives in Wake County, North Carolina.
In Nov 2015, Googe announced that she would run as a Republican in the 2016 United States House election in North Carolina against the long time democratic incumbent, David Price. Mrs. Googe won the June 7th primary at 71% to her primary opponent Teiji Kimbal.
Education and career
Sue attended Wake Technical Community College and UNC-Chapel Hill, and studied information and library science. From 2001 to 2015, Sue worked as a full-time software engineer in the Triangle area. Including but not limited to Duke Energy (Progress Energy), Itron, Highwoods Properties, Northrop Grumman, Channel Advisors. During 2006 and 2007, she frequently spoke at national technical conferences, as a pioneer in leading technologies. Despite her high achievement as a techie, Sue launched her small business in real estate in 2010, while she still working as full-time software engineer.
Controversy
The campaign logo: Googe has been criticized about her campaign logo's similarity to the search giant Google's font. Googe claimed that the marketing firm she hired designed this logo, and assured her there is no legal issue. The search giant Google refuse to comment on this controversy.
