History StudySmart, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Rich Enos and Greg Zumas, who started the business in order to deliver personalized in-home tutoring solutions as an alternative to uniform classroom courses. In 2006, StudySmart opened its first Los Angeles and San Francisco area offices. The company changed its brand name to StudyPoint on October 15, 2007; the company name change to StudyPoint, Inc. was approved by the state of Massachusetts on March 3, 2008.
