Strat Don (born Geddys Ferguson) is a Jamaican Reggae/ R&B singer . Biography Jamaican R&B/Reggae singer STRAT DON real name, Geddys Ferguson, began pursuing his professional music career at the age of 17, when he was introduced to the recording studio by dancehall artiste Aidonia, who was also responsible for coining his alias (which came from his former street name). His main influences come from R&B, Soul and Reggae. Some of his mentors and influences when creating his music are Stevie Wonder, Beres Hammond, Musiq Soulchild, Usher and Bob Marley. To date, Stratdon has had rotation of several of his songs on radio stations in Jamaica, the U.S. and Europe. He placed among the top ten, finalists in the Digicel Rising Star competition of 2009. He has worked with such producers and musicians as Cordell "Skatta" Burell, (Big Ship), Seretse Small (Grior music) and John Williams (Almond Productions). He has had appearances at shows including performances at Jamaica jazz and blues festival 2010, Reggae month concert 2008 (held in New Kingston/knutsford blvd.) Jamaica Vibez(weekendz),Christopher’s café(quad), Village Café and C.V.M @ Sunrise.
