Storm Team 2 Weather App

In July 2010, WGRZ announced the availability of the Storm Team 2 Weather App. This uses WSI WeatherActive Mobile technology to deliver weather information to Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users. It is also available to users of Google Android devices.
Notable features with this technology include:
* Western New York Radar: Buffalo area radar can be viewed on the home page. The radar is interactive and users can zoom down to street level.
* Current & Three Day Forecast: Forecast information is posted at the bottom of the title screen.
* 10 Day & Hourly Forecasts: By clicking on the options button, users can choose to view a 10 day forecast and an hourly forecast over a 24 hour period.
* Weather Alerts: This displays all active alerts issued by the National Weather Service.
* Radar Features: The radar allows users to customize the radar by choosing to view cloud cover, wind speed or earthquakes.
* Choose your location: Users can choose any location they want to focus on.
