Stoomie

Stoomie (born Victor Sagastume Jr. on August 24, 1987 in San Francisco, California) is an American multi-instrumentalist composer, singer, and songwriter.

Life and Career
Stoomie's first contact with the entertainment industry came as a result of his designing and developing extensive fan websites for his favorite musical artists. Webmastering for the music community gave him direct involvement with artists who would eventually influence the evolution of his own personal musical style.

Having mastered multiple musical instruments on his own, Stoomie now works mainly in alternative hip hop, instrumental hip hop and electronica. While Stoomie names Dust Brothers, Dan The Automator and Jon Brion as his greatest influences, he also looks to the works of Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, Portishead, Radiohead, Damon Albarn, Beck, Moby, Liam Lynch, Nigel Godrich, Vangelis, and even John Lennon for inspiration.

Iron Suitcase produced Stoomie's first demo in 2005 and his first full album, "Two For a Tenner - Yes Please" in 2006. This album was recorded in San Francisco, California and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Stoomie's second album is scheduled for release in 2009.
