StingRay Manufacturing

StingRay Manufacturing LLC is a Missouri based company founded in 2009. StingRay Manufacturing provides aqueous parts washer cleaning solutions to transportation, mining, agriculture, oil, earth moving, and trucking industries. The company manufactures a full line of cabinet style parts washer cleaning equipment, including diesel engine washers, electric motor parts washers, biodegradable detergents as well as parts washer replacement parts and accessories. The parts washer cleaning equipment uses hot water and detergent blasted at the dirty parts in a closed-loop environmental friendly process for cleaning. The industrial parts washer equipment produced by StingRay Manufacturing is available exclusively through a network of authorized dealers located throughout North America.
Industries served by StingRay use the heavy-duty parts washers for engine rebuilding, electric motor rebuilding, off road vehicle maintenance and railroad maintenance operations. StingRay Manufacturing has global sales offices, manufacturing and R&D operations in St. Louis, MO.
The company was formed by engineers who previously worked at the MART Corporation. MART Corporation was a leader in aqueous parts washing equipment. In early 2009 MART Corporation ceased operations and several of the engineers moved to form StingRay Manufacturing. Their engineering experience, learned at MART, coupled with design improvements from their 18 years of work at MART, resulted in the StingRay Parts Washer design.
The StingRay Parts Washer is unique in the industry of parts washers as it uses the hydraulic force of impact pressure for cleaning rather than flooding dirty parts with hot washing solution. This design is based on developments by MART founder Gary Minkin and patents by Chief Engineer Marc Treppler. A significant patent and development in parts washer technology lies in their patented, non-synchronized, oscillating manifold system that blasts parts from a different angle each time the part passes on the rotating turntable providing thousands of angles of impingement. Hidden recesses and blind areas of parts that fixed manifold systems miss are effectively cleaned with the oscillating manifold. This technology combined with heavy-duty, high-efficiency pumping systems and high output heating systems delivers faster cleaning cycles and more thorough cleaning.
