Steven H. Rosen

Steven H. Rosen (born May 17, 1970) is an American business executive. He is known as the founder and co-CEO of Cleveland, Ohio-based Resilience Capital Partners, with $320 million of assets under management and investments in 27 companies with more than $2.5 billion in annual revenue and over 6,000 employees in 20 states.
Early life
Steven H. Rosen was born on May 17, 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio and attended the Hawken School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Professional background
Resilience Capital Partners
In 2001, Rosen co-founded Resilience Capital Partners, which invests in and acquires otherwise sound companies that are located primarily in the eastern and mid-western US and that are under-performing, under-managed or under-appreciated due to temporary challenges such as fatigued ownership or lending relationships, a lack of corporate support or special situations such as a restructuring, divestiture or credit event. Prior to founding the organization with Bassem Mansour, Rosen worked for nine years with Merrill Lynch & Company.
Board memberships
Rosen serves on the boards of Park-Ohio Holdings and Hickok Inc. He also has been involved in public affairs, assisting Ohio legislators with developing the concept of a state-administered small business working capital loan program. He is a member of the Ohio Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and the Cleveland chapter of the Young Presidents Organization. He has received recognition for his charitable commitments, including an award honoring his support of the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland and local law enforcement for their efforts to educate the community about youth violence.
