Steven Craig Brown

Steven Craig Brown (born September 4, 1958), a Country Music radio disc jockey who is known for his self effacing broadcasting style.

Biography
Born in Baltimore, MD as Steven Craig Brown, he later changed his professional name to Dave E. Crockett. He was a radio disc jockey starting in 1976 at KHYT in Tucson, AZ. He subsequently worked at several other radio stations, including WLS-FM in Chicago, but is best known for his antics on Houston FM radio stations 93Q and .

In 2008, he was hired at Bill Young Productions as part of their audio production and voice-over team. He can be heard on national commercials on both radio and television. In 2007 Crockett was a bit player in two episodes of NBC-TV Friday Night Lights in the episodes entitled "There Goes The Neighborhood" and "Jumping The Gun." In 2007 he also played the part of a sportscaster in the indie film Hot Dog.
