Stephen A. Borg

Stephen A. Borg is an American newspaper publisher and President of North Jersey Media Group (NJMG). He lives in Tenafly, New Jersey and is a native of Bergen County, New Jersey. Stephen Borg is the third child of Malcolm Borg and the fourth generation of the Borg family to be publisher of The Record, NJMG's flagship publication. The Borg family wholly owns NJMG, which publishes two daily newspapers (The Record of Bergen County and the Herald News of Passaic County); more than 40 community newspapers; a family of glossy magazines, including the popular (201) Magazine, Bergen County's only monthly magazine; NorthJersey.com and Bergen.com.
Stephen A. Borg graduated from Dartmouth College and Columbia Business School. Stephen also attended the Media Management and Leadership program at Poynter Institute and worked for Blair Television in Dallas before becoming President of North Jersey Media Group and Publisher of The Record. He was on the board of the Friends of the Palisades, plays goalie for the Englewood Field Club men's hockey team, and is active in the Bergen Family Center.
Stephen Borg is the grandson of Charles A. Agemian. He is married and has four children.
