Stan Romanek

Stan Romanek, birth name Stan Darsh is a native of Denver, Colorado who claims to have been in contact with extraterrestrials. He filmed the infamous "peeping Tom" alien tape and has appeared on numerous radio programs, magazines, and television programs including Larry King Live.

On December 27, 2000, Stan allegedly had the first of many UFO sightings and encounters. Though Stan claims to have little education in math, he alleges that an amazing series of mathematical equations that seem connected to his UFO experiences emerged both during and after a hypnotic regression. Stan shares his story in video footage and slides.

Overview
Early paranormal events
On December 27th 2000 while filming the scenic area just in the foothills of the Rocky Mountings called Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Stan noticed that cars were pulled over to the side of the road and the occupants were standing along the roadside, pointing toward the sky to the south. When Stan looked to see what they were looking at, he was amazed to see a multi spherical UFO hovering above the power lines just to the left of him. After pacing Stan's van, the UFO eventually flew away. This was Stan's first UFO encounter and being the skeptic that he was, he was convinced that this was either a prank of some kind, or a military experiment but it was only the beginning of his encounters.

On September 1st 2001 Stan and his friends were returning from a trip to Pennsylvania. Traveling west on Interstate 80, Stan's girlfriend noticed a large UFO up in the clouds. It didn't take them long to realize that the UFO was following them. It followed them through two and a half states; Ohio, Indiana and Illinois, then suddenly disappeared.

On September 20th 2001 Stan was about to close the retail store that he managed for the evening when suddenly, his customers came running back
inside to inform him that there was a large, blinking object hovering in the sky above the building. Everyone watched as the UFO eventually flew away, only to return and follow Stan home. Stan quickly ran up to his apartment to get his video camera but by that time, the UFO was too far away to get a clear shot. After this event, Stan claims to have gotten a horrible headache in the back of his head. He decided to go to bed early to relieve it. He eventually did fall asleep, but he says he was awakened at 2:00 AM by a knock at the door. He says remembers three "people" waiting for him in the hallway. As he approached them, he says he realized that they were not fully human. The next morning he tried to convince himself it was only a dream but was shocked to discover he had strange marks on his body. When put under a blacklight the wounds light up.

The Equations
At some point prior to 2002 Stan claims to have been abducted. Through regression he was able to remember the experience. During the hypnosis Stan, who only has a grade school understanding of math due to Dyslexia, drew extremely intricate equations seemingly without any prior knowledge on how to do so. Included in the equation is a formula depicting a helium atom bombarding element 115., Element 115 at the time did not exist. It was years later when element 115 would be experimented with. Also included in the equation is a depiction of our solar system represented by ten dots and a circle. It wouldn't be until years later that scientists would discover a tenth planet in our solar system and name it, "Xenia" or "Planet X". At the end of Stan's
writing is Drake's Equation, first devised by Dr. Frank Drake (now Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of California, Santa Cruz) in 1960, in an attempt to estimate the number of extraterrestrial civilizations in our galaxy with which humanity could potentially have contact. Somehow, with no prior knowledge of Drake's equation, Stan drew it and added, "X 100". Also while under regression Stan suddenly felt as if something important was going to happen and quickly jotted down another drawing. He drew 8 dots which were to represent an alignment the planets, and represent the date when this important event will supposedly unfold. At this point, Stan felt that this drawing looked unfinished. A researcher named Dana Thibault thought that because of Stan's dyslexia, the drawing might be backwards so he suggested reversing it. Unfortunately, this was not correct either and Stan somehow knew it. Oddly enough, at a later date, someone pointed out that Saddam Hussein was captured on the date that the date alignment seemed to indicate. It would take a future abduction and another regression to get the correct date alignment.

Stan was compelled to find out the correct date because according to him he was mentally imprinted telepathically by an apparent hybrid ET with an intense vision of global catastrophe in gestalt form, complete with knowledge and understandings beyond the visual. In the wake of the vision and still in deep eye contact with and mental occupation by the ET, he thought questions any of us might ask. The obvious question "When is this going to happen?" was immediately answered before Stan could voice it with another imprint, a configuration of numbered dots and symbols that correspond to a planetary alignment. The telepathic implication was that this configuration marked the day of the catastrophe. Through further regression Stan says he was able to complete the correct diagram. Not long after the correct date alignment was given to Stan, an astronomer figured out the date from the alignment was an astronomy program. The correct date is September 21, 2012.

On September 3, 2002 upon waking, Stan's wife Lisa noticed that the alarm clock was upside down. They both noticed that there were pens, pencils and paper in and around the bed. It was then that Stan found another equation in his own handwriting lying next to him. Stan has no idea how he was able to draw the equation in total darkness and while asleep.

On January 5, 2003 upon waking Stan found another equation drawn onto his window with a marker. Over the next few years Stan continued to periodically and randomly draw up these equations, one of which was done backwards and had to be read with a mirror. They have astonished scientists with what they've shown and Physicists are still working on deciphering parts of them. Even more amazingly they were drawn by a man who suffers Dyslexia yet are all correct and highly advanced equations.

Jeff Peckman, who is trying to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission, screened Stan’s 'peeping Tom' video for reporters on May 30, 2008 at Metropolitan State College in Denver. The video was said to have been taken on July 17, 2003, in Nebraska.

In 2003 while attempting to deal with a suspected peeping tom, Stan set up a video camera in front of his bedroom window and allowed it to record for a while. Upon returning to the room Stan says he was horrified to see a small grey like creature with a large head and black eyes peering through his window. The creature escaped as Stan says he watched it run across his lawn in a strange 'toe-to-heel' motion. In 2008 Stan publicly announced he will release the tape to the world in the form of a documentary about his paranormal experiences. The video was screened to a select group of media at a special conference where no footage was allowed to be taken. Stan has not released the video outside of this conference instead opting to release a still frame from the tape. His reasoning behind this is that the scientists working on his case want to finish their research completely before anything is released. Stan appeared on Larry King Live following his announcement.

Jeff Peckman explains on his website http://www.extracampaign.org that there is no 'Jeff Peckman Alien Video' and that only
a still from Stan's actual footage has been released. Quote:

"Any so-called Jeff Peckman or Stan Romanek videos on the Internet, whether on YouTube or other web sites, are fake! Faking an original does not prove the original is fake. Faking an original also does not prove the fake is the same as the original. I have no ownership, or legal or financial interest in the Stan Romanek video or still photos or his upcoming book or documentary. Stan merely agreed to show the video to some local media who asked to see it. I've only talked with Stan twice and once while we were at the studio for an uplink on Larry King May 30. We are honest people just telling the truth. We have no control over how that truth gets miscommunicated or abused. It's that simple. Contrary to many news articles, the photo below was never presented by Jeff Peckrman or Stan Romanek as absolute proof of the existence of Extraterrestrial beings visiting Earth. It is only a sliver of evidence, taken from an authentic video, that must be considered in the context of a much larger body of Stan's evidence. And even Stan's experiences are only a drop in the bucket compared to the vast amount of credible witness testimony found at www.disclosureproject.org. Other incidents
Aside from numerous other UFO encounters and 'haunting' like occurrences in his house Stan also captured images of strange orbs floating in his backyard. Though orbs are usually attributed to camera malfunctions, the ones in his photos appear to have faces.

Recently an investigation team comprised from a pool of expert paranormal researches from ParaNexus (www.paranexus.org) were sanctioned to perform and completed an official investigation of the Stan Romanek home. Their interest was sparked by a triple series of photos that had been submitted to them by Stan Romanek all taken approximately one week apart of each other. The most compelling being of an anomalous entity photographed in his living room (approximately four feet tall) while examining Stan's cable remote control device; that appeared to be floating in mid-air when Stan entered the room. When the team from ParaNexus examined the first two series of photographs, they provided Stan with a DSLR camera to use to confirm it was not caused by camera malfunction, should the event happen again; which it did five days later. Only this time the family cats were interacting with the entity.
One of the most unique features of the photographs was that the anomalies in the series of photographs seemed to mysteriously absorb all the surrounding light in the room, creating what appeared as a 'shadow person' in the series of photos. Coverage and investigation
Stan Romanek's case has received considerable attention in the media especially for a UFO case. Unknown, unnamed scientists, astronomers and physicists have all taken high interest in the equations and a university teacher of video editing (with no experience in visual effects, compositing, models, 3D or anything else that has a bearing on the creation of fabricated UFOs or their occupants) has determined that the peeping tom video might be authentic.

The Documentary

It should be noted that Stan claims all the information released this far is only a fraction of the actual case and that all will be answered once the documentary on his experiences is released. Some criticize the lack of information as a money making scam but Stan and his Wife insist it's not about money and that their main goal is disclosure. The Documentary is currently in the early stages but Stan hopes for it to be released by the end of 2008. A non-fiction book called, "Messages: The Stan Romanek Story" is also expected to be released to the world soon.
