Stacy Ann Peterson (born January 20, 1984) is the 24-year-old fourth wife of longtime Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson, whom she met when she was 17-years-old. The mother of four (she adopted her husbands two older children after they married) vanished from her home in Bolingbrook, Illinois on October 28 2007. Stacy, 24, is 5′ 2″ tall, 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has two visible tattoos, one of a blue and yellow carnation on the small of her back, and one of red cherries with green leaves on her left front hip. Her case has received widespread news coverage because of the mysterious nature of her disappearance,the supicious death of Kathleen Savio, his third wife, and the media circus surrounding Drew Peterson and his attorney . As of November 9, 2007, Drew Peterson has been named the only suspect in his wife's disappearance. November 26, 2007, the FBI joined the search making it possible for the US Navy Seals to provide technical assistance in water searches. Stacy’s photo and information were shown on national television December 8, 2007 broadcast on America’s Most Wanted.
