StackCommerce

StackCommerce is an American-based e-commerce company headquartered in Venice, CA. Its suite of services provides white-labeled e-commerce stores to online publishers, including editorial websites and blogs, and allows online retailers to sell products to publisher audiences.
History
StackCommerce was founded in 2011 by Josh Payne as a flash sale website for digital tools called StackSocial. The company became part of the Amplify.LA start-up accelerator program in 2012. Following investment, the company rebranded to StackCommerce in 2014 and pivoted its business model to focus on broader e-commerce efforts. The company continues to maintain the StackSocial website, though. In 2017, StackCommerce acquired Joyus, founded by Sukhinder Sing Cassidy. Joyus is a digital marketplace centering on fashion, cosmetics, and other beauty products.
In February 2021, TPG Capital acquired a majority stake in StackCommerce through their Integrated Media subsidiary.
