sRide is a carpooling and bike pooling company based in Pune, India. The application is available on both Android and iOS platforms. As of 2015, the company is operational in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru. History sRide was established in 2015. The organization was founded by Lakshna Chadha Jha, Nitin Chadha and Amitkumar Agrawal, a team of software professionals based in Pune. How It Works sRide offers eligibility to a working professional to register using his name, address, personal and official email address. Member’s credentials are automatically verified through various processes. After the registration is completed, the user is provided with the option to check for other registered members travelling on his/her route and connect with them to avail or offer a ride. After the ride is completed, rider pays the car owner online as per a sharing principle of sRide. Partners The company has tie-ups with corporates such as Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and others to offer regular carpooling rides to employees. Funding On 12th August 2016, sRide raised a funding of $1 million from Angel Investors.
