Sportscast Stars Training (SST) provides media training for broadcasters, athletes, and coaches.
Background
Sportscast Stars Training was founded by husband and wife, Bob Goodrich and Annie Hoffman. Goodrich is a 15 time Sports Emmy Awards winning producer. Emmy Award nominated Hoffman has spent time both in front of and behind the camera, making her experience invaluable. Together Goodrich and Hoffman have worked on more than 1,800 sporting events, and building on this experience, they have designed a program to help make their clients “stars” and create an environment where they can thrive.
Sportscast Stars Training conducts seminars for broadcasters, teaching them the valuable skills they need to take their careers to the highest levels of network and cable sports. Annie and Bob share their knowledge and lessons learned from the legends of the business. Sportscast Stars Training also provides media training seminars for sports leagues, colleges and universities, providing their athletes, coaches, administrators and staff with valuable preparation so that they can best represent themselves and their respective teams. In addition, SST teaches clients to deal with the media as well as the life skills utilized throughout their lives.
SST’s clients include college football and basketball teams and professional race car drivers and the WNBA.
Mission
Sportscast Stars Training has two main objectives:
To improve the image of athletes and coaches by providing media training and advancing their skills in front of the camera in order to best represent themselves and their respective teams.
To foster and support the sports industry by supplying a constant source of media commentators of superior caliber and to improve the face of sports by developing and advancing the abilities, media knowledge, and qualifications of the sportscaster.
