Spencer Kuvin

Background
Kuvin graduated from Florida State University in 1991 and went to law school at St. Thomas University Law School in Miami, Florida. At St. Thomas Law School, Kuvin was an associate editor for the Law Review and graduated top 5% of his class. Kuvin also worked as the editor of the law school newspaper and as an Honor Court prosecutor. His career started as an insurance defense attorney working for large insurance companies and multinational corporations. He continued this work for approximately 5 years until he "saw the light." His first work as a plaintiff attorney, helping injured individuals and families was with legendary attorney Robert Montgomery. Kuvin later left Montgomery and went to work with attorneys Edward Ricci and Theodore Leopold where he became a partner after having many successful settlements and verdicts. After a few years, Kuvin and Leopold decided to start their own firm, which is where Kuvin works today.
Notable cases
Kuvin has been involved in many different notable cases. For example, in 2008 Kuvin represented numerous victims of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Kuvin also helped hundreds of victims of an unscrupulous funeral home that was defrauding individuals by overcharging and refusing to issue refunds for out of state burials. Kuvin also was successful working with his brother, Lowell Kuvin, to strike down as unconstitutional a ban against parking pickup trucks in the City of Coral Gables.
