Speed mathing

Speed mathing is an activity where a mathematical related problem is solved as fast as possible. Speed mathing is usually used in math competitions and is often performed at schools.
History
Oberon High School is a secondary school in Geelong, Australia. It also hosts the State Speed Maths competition. The reason why speed math competitions are different to normal math competitions is that speed math is more focused on time rather then correct answers. In speed mathing, points are added for how fast the questions are completed, points are subtracted for incorrect answers.
Speed math requirements
There are 2 main requirements for speed mathing:
# An extremely good understanding and knowledge of mathematics.
# The ability to think very quickly, both mentally and physically,(as a stackmat timer is often used).
